At Northside Vision centre has a very large selection of deeply discounted frames for adults and children, we offer direct billing for all of our services. Our staff will work with you to have your invoice generated and delivered directly to you, without the inconvenience of working with a third party. New patients and walk-ins are always welcome too.
About our Doctors
Dr. Jay Torbeih
A native of Edmonton, Dr. Torbeih attended the University of Alberta and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2000. He then received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2004. Upon graduating, Dr Torbeih returned to Edmonton, working in several different clinical settings before opening Northgate Total Focus. Dr.Torbeih considers his relationship with his patients to be the most rewarding part of his practice, and strives to provide the utmost care to his patients. He especially enjoys working with children, and performs comprehensive ocular examinations with great patience and skill. Dr. Torbeih is also interested in third world eye care and has participated in a service trip to Mexico with the University of Waterloo. Dr.Torbeih enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends.
Dr. Moe Tarabey
Dr. Moe Tarabey attended University of Alberta where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with Honours. Subsequently, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The InterAmerican University School of Optometry. Dr. Moe Tarabey is also a member of the optometric Honour society, Beta Kappa Sigma. Dr. Tarabey is interested in general primary care optometry and strives to provide thorough eye exams in a caring environment. His special interests in optometry include pediatrics, geriatrics, ocular pathology and contact lenses. Dr. Tarabey has significant expertise in these areas of optometry.
Dr. Khaldoun Ramahi
A native of Edmonton, Dr. Ramahi attended the University of Alberta where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree with Honours. Dr. Ramahi then pursued his graduate studies at the InterAmerican University where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Ramahi earned several academic awards during his studies, including awards for clinical excellence, several academic scholarships, and was inducted into the optometric Honours society Kappa Beta Sigma. As a part of his optometry rotations, Dr. Ramahi trained in a practice where he was exposed to a variety of ocular diseases. Dr. Ramahi has great enthusiasm and dedication to what he does, and this is obvious to his patients in the exam room. On his time off, Dr. Ramahi enjoys movies, hockey, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
